Balance Sheets.

Sweat begins to trickle and it all spins a little faster
When thoughts are consumed by

Certificates of deposits, bond markets
Frequent flier miles, APYs, LLCs
Liabilities.

But when the dust settles,
And we become the dust,
And a tree grows from our remains,

All
The paper will be shredded into confetti
The coins will melt into saddened streams
The bits and bytes will cease their computing

And we’ll be sustained
By the radiance of our soul
